After an exhausting session with Victoria's Secret Police, "Aegis"
confessed the following: Anyone have info on this insignia from 1963? Not sure what you know, or what you're asking for, but...the 14th FS did not exist as a fighter squadron in 1963... http://www.maxwell.af.mil/au/afhra/w...es/0014fs.html In fact the 14th TRS was inactive from Apr 1953 to Oct 1966. The 14th FS patch is similar to the 14th TRS patch only in terms of the billowing clouds and lightning bolt. The TRS patch had Bugs Bunny sitting on top of a stylized P-38 Lightning, where lightning bolts are the twin booms. Juvat
