Jim wrote: Reality-XP ( http://www.reality-xp.com ) has an add-on to Microsoft Flight Simulator which allows the integration of Garmin's 530 simulator engine with FS2004. I have the package and it works great for me. You get the identical user interface of the real thing. -Jim I have the Garmin 530 integrated into FS 2002. This integration was written by someone who no longer does it. His first version would couple to FS 2002's nav mode, thus the autopilot would follow the Garmin 530 active flight plan rather than the FS GPS flight plan. But, his second version lost that coupling capability. Will this one you are using couple to the autopilot? Nothing about that is mentioned on the web site. Also, I presume you're stuck with Garmin's August, 2002 nav database? |
