My son would like to major in aeronautical or aerospace engineering in
college. He wants to be an aerodynamicist. He is mainly interested in aerodynamics of fixed-wing aircraft. Many schools have an aerospace major, but seem to be focused more on the "space" side. He has very little interest in the space side. He just finished his private pilot's license and his hobby is R/C planes. Does anyone have any knowledge of schools that emphasize the aeronautical aspects rather than the space side? We are located on the east coast. Thanks. |
