I just had this pointed out to me by a friend, and it's worth noting:
If you're planning on arriving in OSH this coming Saturday, not only will you miss the fly-in pool party in Iowa City (see: http://www.alexisparkinn.com/iowa_city_pool_party.htm), but you might end up in a perpetual hold around Rush Lake due to over 100 Bonanzas arriving, en masse, between 2 and 3 PM in a flight from Rockford, IL. Since these things don't always happen on a tight schedule -- and there will be a giant slug of folks who have been holding trying to get in immediately after the B2OSH folks -- you might say that anywhere from 1 till 5 PM is a "bad" time to arrive. Unless you *enjoy* the hold around Rush Lake, plan your arrival for another time. -- Jay Honeck Iowa City, IA Pathfinder N56993 www.AlexisParkInn.com "Your Aviation Destination" |
