OK Nick, it's updated. Looks like I forgot to hit save on the website, but happened to have a copy in an email I sent. That valley east of the Whites is named Fish Valley and has a couple landing strips as well as lots of nice fields in case I got low. I had been thinking Tonopah, then on to Eureka, but once on the Silver Peak mountains, due north looked a lot better. I landed at Circle L just south of Dyer Nevada on the east side of the whites, good strip. GKemp "NK" |

Yea 5Z
Good write up, inspriring! I hope to get out there some year to fly in the DDD, before I get too old. I spent the summers of 82 83 84 living in Bishop Hang Gliding mainly off Walts Point above Lone Pine, with my best effort resulting with a landing in Luning NV. Would like to fly the area in my Glider. Say hello to Karen. Tango |

My flight and a blog entry are available at http://www.crosscountry.aero/flight/view/24514 Tom Nice inspiring write up. The challenging start makes the rest of the flight even more enjoyable to read. Back next year I should plan to join. BG |
