Ludovic wrote on 1/7/2020 5:44 AM: Thanks for the link ! I considered the fancy Fulton for my ASH 26 E trailer, but decided it did not have the lift I wanted, and had too many negative reviews. I bought this by Dutton-Lainson, which has worked very well for two seasons: Dutton-Lainson Co 22210 DLX Tongue Jack https://www.amazon.com/Dutton-Lainso...%2C272&sr=8-17 It is far sturdier than the lighter weight tongue jack I was using, and easily handles the 220 lb tongue load of the trailer. -- Eric Greenwell - Washington State, USA (change ".netto" to ".us" to email me) - "A Guide to Self-Launching Sailplane Operation" https://sites.google.com/site/motorg...ad-the-guide-1 Your tongue must not have the parking brake assembly that is bolted to mine.. There is no access to the tongue itself - I have to use the mounting plate that has a hole pattern that matches the much-maligned Cobra tongue wheel (approx. 4" x 2", but I am sure that is metric), which I have to remove completely every time I tow it. It bottoms out on my driveway if I don't. I would have to make an adapter plate that accommodates the different mounting hole dimensions. Tom |
