I have complete coverage on my aircraft, hull and liability.Â* I didn't
think to ask whether if I ground looped on takeoff, but before leaving the ground, would I be covered.Â* When they said, "No coverage", I got busy and researched the stuff I'd done on Wings. Fortunately I had the credits to extend my Flight Review from this April until next February.Â* I would guess that if I was taxiing to the gas pump with no intention of flight and caught the prop, I might be covered without a flight review, but why chance it? "...no coverage."?? None at all?? Flying, I can understand that. Hull coverage has to remain in force. So I assume the insurance company is only talking about once airborne. Q: Which coverage is in force (hull or airborne) if you haven't left the ground as yet, dragged a wing tip resulting in an ugly pirouette, and damaged the aircraft? A hair to be split? -- Dan, 5J |
