Back when Coors was only sold in the western US, they were also used once
in a
while as beer trucks. :-)


That must be as old as Naval Air itself... VF-17 flew beer instead of ammo
when they took their F4U-1A Corsairs to war ;-)

And the "old" VC-8 (when the disestablishing one was VU-8) could, and
did, carry a whole lot of booze in that huge bombbay in the AJ Savages,
with assistance from their P2V-2 and 3 Neptunes).

....not to mention the 21 cases of Cruzan rum that would fit under the
floorboards of an H-3...
