So did many a T-28 from Whiting! Loved when pilots returned from
xcountries!

I usta help load lobsters on the birds that came up to Brunswick in the
early 70s. Put 'em in everything from an A-37 to filling a C-118 front to
back as high as the bottom of the windows (that one went to NorVa).

Our C-117 from MCAS Beaufort made a few lobster runs, or was it cross country
training flights. It helped when our Maint Chief had a brother who lived there
to coordinate it all on the Brunswick end.

"...not to mention the 21 cases of Cruzan rum that would fit under the
floorboards of an H-3..."

Lots of rum in the tail turret's ammo compartments in the A3D
Jacksonville/Gitmo runs also (VAH-1).
