"Martin" wrote in message om... (Martin) wrote in message . com... I am building a gas turbine jet engine and need a small quantity of Inconol 713 for turbine, 75mm diameter by 15mm thick. Does anyone know of a supplier in the Uk that can provide me with what I need? Thanks Martin Repost to include metalworking group. Additional note: the material I am looking for may infact be "Inconel" 713. Martin Sorry, can't help with the Inconel, but I would love to see what you are building! Martin. Sorry Martin, I've got a confession to make, I actually put this question on for my father-in-law who is the one actually building the engine as a retirement project. He doesn't have a computer so I searched the internet for him but couldn't find anything. Then I said to him that I would try an appropriate Google group and get back to him if I got any replies. It seemed easier to pose the question as if it was my project than to explain the actual situation. I think I persuaded him, though, of the usefulness of having access to the internet because he is planning to buy his own computer and go online himself in the not too distant future. Martin |

My very mechanical engineer (retired) got a computer, and now, I'm his technical support number! All in all, I don't mind it, but some days, after the 5th or so call, it starts to get old! -- Jim in NC |

Rich Just use your elbo and bang it down on the keyboard, it will always find the "ANY" key. If however that happens to fail, try using your head instead. A close work friend swears that he really got that question in a class he taught years ago. His answer: "It's that big wide one on the bottom between the "Alt" keys." Russell Kent |
