That can't be right. Do you mean that, if you do two 100 hour inspections
every year, and IA never has to look at the plane? An annual and a 100 hour have the same scope of work. The annual must be signed off by an IA. Everyplane needs an annual once a year. Aircraft used for carrying passengers for hire, or flight instruction for hire when the instructor provides the aircraft require an ANNUAL or 100 hour every 100 hours. In the case of a flight school plane does only one of the inspections each year have to be done by an IA? What I said is we did annuals every 100 hour. An IA signed off the inspections. |
