In a word, housing. Staying at Marion College this year. I know, I
know...we're wimps. Real pilots camp at OSH, right? :-) Given that Dad is
coming with us this year though, we thought he'd be more comfortable in the
dorms. Heck, we even paid the extra $5/day for A/C (yes, now we're really
truly wimps...). I will miss camping at OSH though. There's nothing quite
like the rain/wind/lightning/sleeping in the plane/always having something
wet to dry out/daily runs to the Pigly Wigly/etc.

What????
You're not going to hang around for dinner this year?

If you're referring to the annual gathering at Jay and Mary's campsite Eric,
oh no...I wouldn't miss that. Planning on being there until the shuttle
busses quit running.

Speaking of shuttle busses to the various dorms, anyone remember the hours
of operation they ran last year?

I think they ran until 10 PM last year.

However, if Greg Burkhart drives in again this year, you could probably
sleep in his Miata... ;-)

(He did, one night! I don't know how he could walk the next day...)

I remember the story. Hmmm, I've ridden in a Miata, can't imagine trying
to sleep in one. Not exactly built for someone 6 ft. tall.

Cool!

Maybe we should fly in as a flight of three (Brian and Christine are coming
in their Warrior, I think), so that we can camp close to each other?

How fast can the Ercoupe go?

Not very fast -- maybe I should leave now... ;-)

Lately it has been cruising about 95-100mph so you'll have to give me a head
start. I'll have to see if I'm up to flying into OSH...

Hey, we slept a few hours in the 172 last year...was the only thing really
water proof during the late night downpour one evening. I don't know
Greg...Miata or Ercoupe...tough choice on which I'd rather sleep in. No
brainer on which one I'd rather take to OSH.
