I'm planning on flying a 172 RG from San Diego to OSH for the big show at the end of July. Any thoughts from others that have made the trip? I'm IFR rated, but with the summer time T-Storms the trip is probably the same IFR or VFR. You might consider the NORTH route... Salt Lake City, Cheyenne, Iowa City Iowa, Portage Wis, Appleton. Then you can go to Jay's Party! (It is cooler, norther). :-) Best regards, Jer/ "Flight instruction and mountain flying are my vocation!"
