OK ...
.... I go into SETUP - flick to the TIMERS tab - Move down to FUEL TIMER and select ON. I move accross to the next field and set it for something like 4 hours. 1 second later (on the next screen refresh) it goes back to zero. Basic problem is I don't understand how it's supposed to work - I would have thought that one would set it for some value (say 30 minutes) at which point it would count backwards to zero - display an alart message - reset to 30 minuts - and start counting down. Possibly starting when the GPS detects motion of the aircraft. If I set the timer to off I can get it to hold a setting - but as soon as I turn it to on it goes right to zero. ![]() If I set the timer to off I can get it to hold a setting - but as soon as I turn it to on it goes right to zero. Have you established an aircraft profile with a burn rate, and is that the active aircraft profile when you set the timer? (I've never used this feature, since my watch work better: two hours and I look for a runway!) all the best -- Dan Ford email: (put Cubdriver in subject line) Warbird's Forum www.warbirdforum.com Piper Cub Forum www.pipercubforum.com the blog www.danford.net |
