There's only one FBO in Naples. Its the Naples Airport Authority. They
have a monopoly. And use it. I fly into Naples once a month. They always treat me right. Even get to use the car to drive for breakfast. The fuel prices are a bit on the high side, but they cater to deep pocket clientel. During the Hurricane I repositioned my bird to Naples and they took good care of it. Hank |

Good barbeque joint right across the street. From the NAA, walk out the
the drive to the road and cross the street. Hankal wrote: There's only one FBO in Naples. Its the Naples Airport Authority. They have a monopoly. And use it. |

But still, NAA, aka "the management" is using their monopolistic position, hence the high fuel prices. They are also getting sued right now, because of alleged violation of the sherman act. The small field I'm based at (Lakewood, NJ) is charging $3.05, Old Bridge is $2.95, and Allaire is $3.12. And the Brits will probably chime in now with figures that I don't even want to think about. It's high everywhere. Naples prices seem to be pretty fair. George Patterson The desire for safety stands against every great and noble enterprise. |

There is just about 4 litres to the US gallon but will not calculate it out fully as this is not the time of year to see grown men cry. With Jet fuel at £0.38 a litre, you can see why here in Europe, diesel engines seem a absolutely necessary development. Chris |
