Ray,
Bob is a very interesting and determined guy. I grew up in the same neighborhood (he was older, I hung out with his younger brother) but then we flew together when I was in college and he was living back in Des Moines for a period of time. Very smooth, accurate pilot when I knew him. Driven to accomplish things. As I recall, he also did a successful charity fundraiser where he landed at all of the airports in Iowa in a given period of time. Lot of fun to be around. There are some interesting stories regarding some of the airplanes he's flown and the checkrides he's taken. All the best, Rick |
