Great post. No opposition response?

Can anyone who believes that the Olson phone calls were

legitimate
explain what came from Aviation Week? Can we understand WHY

cell
phones
won't work beyond a maximum altitude of 8k feet yet?

Tell you what. What would you accept as evidence that I can place

phone
calls from 10,000 feet using a PCS phone?

The 8k ft. limit was published as part of a study on the efficacy

of
using cell phones aloft. It wasn't a figure pullout out of, well,

thin
air. From my personal point of view, the 8k figure is somewhat
relevant, but as the case is made on this narrow issue, I'd like to
hear more about your evidence.

As an investigative issue, the 8k limit has soft teeth anyway.

You see what I mean, Sport Pilot? There is no evidence that can

satisfy
them. Please don't bring these people over here again.

Feel free to delete any forums you desire. I don't think they will
bother to read this one. Hurts to much to see that they are wrong.
