I keep failing in the same place: in the second segment of the flight
where I have to lend at S43, after the lending the examinator says "breached at least two tolerances: did not set manifold preasure to 15" for descent and did not extend gear for landing", which is complete bullox: - the gear is already extended from the previous part where I had to descend from 6500ft to 3500ft, at which point the manifold preasure was 15". - I do indeed set preasure to 15" on a downwind leg of descent: from 1500ft to 1015 and for the final. With gear-down descent the manifold preasure must be 15" and speed below max. gear extension speed of 155mph. Why does she set tolerance to 22" of manifold preasure and 200 knots per hour? Is there diffeence between gear-down descent and high-speed descent? Maybe I am supposed to retract gear after starting to cruise at 3500 ft? I failed it about 20 times already (that's 15 hours) at the same place. Please help. |
