22-08-2003 01:17, Bill Daniels:
The big advantage of the new cable is its low weight. It weights just one eighth of conventional steel cable with the same breaking strain. The lower weight is reflected in greater tow heights and (where possible) in longer cable runs. How about it's durability? Can a cut cable be rapaired in field conditions? Could people who did the testing share their reports with us? I'm courious about cable's physical specifications - how elastic it is (along it's length), how it stands weather conditions, etc. -- Wojtus'.net __|__ FidoNet: 2:484/47 `--------o--------' |
