Great response Jonathan
You sir must be intelligent and open minded Steve, you are an idiot Please do not fly IFR in my airspace BTW, Jonathan is very close. In the current FAA if you are an F employee or an A employee you are treated the same. You know, the way socialism "assumes" everyone deserves the same pay. IAW, the FAA is socialist and will fail if it continues on the path it is on. Hiring for diversity and political correctness goals rather than qualifications and experience in the SAFETY business NASA is going through the same pain, 2 shuttles and 14 lives later. Now I'm really curious--what is "racist" about the article? Is it Walter Williams (who happens to be black)? Or is it what he has to say (in which case, you're saying that blacks can be racists)? At first glance, the article appears to address political correctness run amok and not race. In any case, it's a stretch to say that the subject of the opinion piece cited explains the FAAs problems. The FAA, like most government agencies and large corporations, constantly struggles with problems of its own creation, many of them resulting from political correctness or an attempt to treat unequal productivity equally.
