I lasted almost 4 months, before the whole renting thing got to me.
First bought an Ercoupe (for 2 years and 200 hours) and then a 172 (for
2 years and 200 hours). Wouldn't have it any other way.

My question is : How many people still fly after five years and haven't/don't own an airplane?

I have flown for more like twenty years and don't own. I recently
joined a flying club though, so I like sort of own.

r.a.products stripped - I don't follow the group and I don't see the
relevance.
r.a.owning retained, though I don't follow the group.
