Everyone has been posting their Oshkosh photos, so here is mine. I took
about 150 photos. Not all of them are great, but some of them turned out pretty cool, especially the aerial shots of the field. http://www.sarangan.org/album/aviation_album.html (Click on 2005, and scroll to the bottom) |

Which one is N40 and which one is your site? I assume that it's one of the
Bell 47 Ride pics but I'm not familiar enough to recognize N40. "N40" is shorthand for "the north 40 acres", which is the general aviation camping area to the north of the main display area. Another way of saying the same thing is that the North 40 is adjacent to and
immediately south of Runways 9/27 and runs from the west end of the field (approach end of Rwy 09) east to the warbird area. But which row? Relative to the building, how many rows up or down (in the
picture) and how many planes in? -- Bob (Chief Pilot, White Knuckle Airways - who never did find the party :-( ) "john smith" wrote in message . .. His plane is the first one, next to the road. It would be four planes but the spot across from his is empty. Montblack |
