spinnerspilotshop.com has them for $305 verses the $344 at ACE's. I
haven't found anyone that can beat their prices and their service is excvellent too. Not a paid consultant but a satified customer for several years now. I have the H20-10XL's and I love them. Good luck!! I have a pair of 20-10XL's and love them. I also have a pair of 20-10's
and two pair of 10-13.4's David Clark is my only choice. Lightspeed also makes decent headsets. I believe the h10-60 are for Helos only. Are your flying rotary wing or fixed wing? I believe the h10-60 are for Helos only. Are your flying rotary wing or
fixed wing? Michelle I thought that, too, when I first saw the posting. I went to the DC homepage to check. 10-60's come in three flavors now. Fixed, coiled cord helo, and dual impedence. |

30 mins from them and have been very happy with their service and prices. Hercul,
are that model and price ok?? Actually, I don't think any DC models are ok, especially not regarding price, but also regarding comfort. Have you tried the headset for a while? Do you think it is comfortable? Have you wondered why you should pay almost twice as much as for the Sennheiser? IMHO you should look into an active headset, which can be had in the price range you mention. Look into the Lightspeeds. -- Thomas Borchert (EDDH) |

Hercul
I'd wait for a while to see if you are going to continue flying or not. Why spend money for a headset and later have to sell it for half price? I'd find the lightest set I could and the lowest price for the time being. You may find someone who is doing just as I said and you can buy a set cheaply! I think the Clarks are too heavy for me. I've used a Planatronics set with custom ear pieces for nearly 30 years in both airplanes and helicopters. My helmet has earphones and a mic for use when I am crop spraying and have a radio. I've also got a couple of the earmuff type headsets but I don't use them for myself and let my PAX use them. Thomas,
I would agree that the 10- series is not the most comfortable. However the 20- series are quite comfortable. Dc's are pricey but they have the best service in the business in my opinion.
