Best gift: Hand made lap quilt for the airplane, made by my daughter.

What I didn't get: One Six Right DVD. Speaking of which, it's "Merry
Christmas to me" time. Need to head over to the website and order it.

You have to be born into Montblanc's family to receive one as a gift
from him. I tried to convince him that I was part of his aviation
family, but he didn't buy it (in more ways than one).

Ya, Paul stiffed me on that gift too...and after all we do flying to OSH
to visit. :-)

Good call clarifying "Aviation family" from biological family when it
involves a certain acquaintance from the twin cities area.

Ah ha! So you admit to stiffing me. First, it's our good friend Mr.
Smith...now me. I'm sure Jay and Jim B. were stiffed long ago and
probably for different reasons. No wonder you had to find your own camp
site last year at OSH.

All is forgotten with a couple of well placed copies of One Six Right. :-)

Not just stiffed, but stood up!!! After I bust my both my butt and my
brains pulling rabbits out of my hat so I can meet him in IOW two weeks ago,
guess who doesn't show??!!

I think that if Monblack doesn't get his hands on an Ercoupe soon, and get
back into the flying life, he's headed down a slippery slope.

BTW, there's a nice little yellow one sitting in a field just a few miles
down the road from me. Nobody around it Paul. Noooo body at all.... Would
your van pull a trailer? hehe

Yeah, that one was a tough call on my end. 10 pm the night before, it's off.
Noon the next day, it's back on. Unfortunately on this end I had committed
to multiple other people & plans by then. Almost got it to work on this end,
though.

The Mpls to Tomah, Wis to Iowa City (Drive & Fly) option would have been a
blast. Drat.

If it wasn't 'so big' I could haul it home with the minivan. 1,320!

Oh the horror... :-)

So long as MontBlack doesn't stiff us with PMC 2.0.

Ya, he seriously needs an upgrade from the Dodge minivan. Something he
doesn't have to sneak into the N-40 at OSH. In a perfect world,
something that can carry PMC 2.0 as well. Hmmm, better consider the
belly pod option for the Ercoupe. Might need a ruling as to whether
that would take it out of LSA parameters.

Christmas isn't quite over yet... but I didn't get anything aviation
specific. I was hoping others had more luck. :-)
