Its so much more than that - the things are like sports cars that will
immediately crash the moment you take your hands off the steering
wheel. Let go of a control column in any aircraft, and it will
continue to fly, waiting for your next input. Let go of the 'one man
band' collection of controls in most heloes and it begins its search
for the closest bit of terrain.
