You are completely missing the point. The problem isn't the ads per se. They are simply the underlying motive that shows why you felt a need to lie about the nature of your relationship to the web site. The real problem is that you lied about the nature of your relationship to the web site. Writing articles takes time. Making them available on a web site costs money (even if it's only a small amount). More power to the blogger who can defray his costs by including unobtrusive ads in their web site. I've got nothing against that. Had you posted something like "I've written some articles in my blog that I think would be of interest to you all, here's the link", that would've been okay, even with the ads (especially if you acknowledged the web site is ad-supported). But the moment you misrepresent the true nature of the site, you've crossed the line to unacceptable behavior. Pete OK, i'm not gonna lie, you are right and i agree with you 100%, so i would like to apologize to the group. Yes this is my website (blog), yes its about aviation and flight training, and yes it is ad supported. Some article were written by me, others were submited. Yes i do think that they are interesting, and yes i think you should read them. Thank you for viewing my articles and site. |

Suggestion for iprintstl: Most bloggers can spell, can proof and edit, and can correctly use syntax and proper English. Work on it and then present your site and a "must" read. So ... you're not like most bloggers? ;-) |

At the very least, you might try quoting the text to which you're actually replying. That said, whether you are writing a blog, posting to Usenet, or composing your resume, good spelling and grammar *greatly* enhance the reader's willingness to take what you have to say seriously. You hurt only yourself when you insist on ignoring such things. Pete |

Go to http://www.mozilla.org/ and download the correct version for your OS/computer. Next, go to these links and install the following extensions: Fasterfox (improves performance; optional) https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1269/ NoScript (disables/enables JavaScript on a per site basis; optional - recommended) https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/722/ Adblock (blocks adds from links unless you whitelist it - can add your own; pure gold) https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/10/ Adblock Filterset.F Updater (Maintains a filter list for use with the above; maintained by others tired of ads; pure gold) https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1136/ Of course this means you need to use Firefox for your browsing pleasure. The benefits are lost if you use IE. Greg |

Your site would look much better if it weren't the standard WordPress
template a billion other sites use. How about some originality in designed? (and writing too for that matter) Ray wrote: Peter Duniho wrote: wrote in message ups.com...
