Yes, that is often correct. Only the rose colored glasses folks think
these joints are about art. I about fell out of my chair laughing when
I saw that one... :-)

The upscale ones these days have learned that there is more money to
be made selling the illusion of sex than the actual selling of sex...
But that's not to say that there probably aren't still of the old
school style locations still around...

A wise old man once said, "I'm not paying for sex... I'm paying for
her to *leave* afterwards..."

Think about it for a bit and you'll realize that he was right...

Yeah, but these days with the ability to catch disease that pennicilin
can't cure (in addition to them being able to kill you), it wouldn't
be as fun to be in the Navy...

Here's another great fly-in destination, and it even has airport in the
name. It isn't in NY or NJ, however. But if you are in the SFO area...

You're kind of expanding the thread a little bit here, aren't you, Matt?

I mean, three miles! G

Do they have strippers?

Call them and ask.

I did. They told me to ask you.

As an ex-sailor, I can definitely state that there are strip joints in
which the girls will 'entertain' you in a dimly lit private booth
towards the back of the club... Of course, my data is probably close
to 25 years old ...

Well, it's time for you to go out and update your research!

Yeah, but then when they tell me that I'm old enough to be their
father, I have to use the line, "Hmmm... What's your mother's
name?"...

Yes, we definitely need to limit the listings to "walking distance"
from the field. Three miles might as well be 300 miles, at 3 AM with
no car...

I wonder -- are there any "on-field" churches?

Or, for that matter, on-field strip clubs?

:-)

While not a "strip" club, there is an on-field brothel at Lida
Junction Airport 15 miles east of Goldfield, Nevada. The 6,100' x 80' dirt
airstrip is maintained by the Nevada DOT.
