"Sweaters are more of a rumor than a reality in Phoenix."
Have you ever actually spent a winter in Phoenix? Lots of sweaters, especially when it drops down to a chilly 50F or so... Love watching those puppies fighting... 66 |

I thought the scientific community is concerned about changes the order of a degree or two C over the next 100 years -- not nearly enough to cause a person to change their wardrobe in the next decade or two. Average changes of even a fraction of a degree worldwide can mean much larger changes over small areas and over small periods of time. In general, the more energy (heat) added to the atmosphere, the more active it becomes, and the greater the extremes that it manifests. In Paris, for example, the weather has warmed by several degrees in recent years. -- Transpose mxsmanic and gmail to reach me by e-mail. |

According to the Weather channel web site the overnight lows for the next 10 days are all below 50. As I type this it's 39 degrees in Phoenix. Care to make any other unsupported statements? |
