Sounds like he pulled a lot of G's. I know what the plane is rated for, but how many more G's would it take to do that much damage? Even the fuselage and vertical were wrinkled. I don't think I have ever heard of that before. One thing is certain. Beech had it's strength figures right. No extra weigh anywhere in the structure, since it was overstress all over the plane at the same time! g I suppose the seat cushion had a permanent wrinkle in it too, with a possible brown racing stripe, too! g -- Jim in NC |
