I made another quick vid... no landing cuz I'm a clutz and I erased
it. But a bit more of the scenery out the window.

How on earth can you stand all of that crap on the glare shield? There is a
reason that it is painted flat black; to keep a bunch of reflected white
from going up on the windshield, and into your eyes.

Only because it's out of my way and it gets put back onto my lap after
takeoff, I just prefer not to have a kneeboard and checklist strapped
to me during takeoff because, well, It's easier to move about without
a kneeboard on you. In cruise flight they're not up there, but for
taxi and takeoff I don't see (no pun intended) a problem with them
being there.

Nice leadin to "Maui Girl"! (pops up at the end of your video)
Does she count as a hangar queen?

If it doesn't bother him, then I guess it doesn't bother him?

When I took my first lesson (in my Dad's C-120) the instuctor got in,
scanned the panel, said "hang on for a second" and dashed back into the FBO
where he "borrowed" a bean bag ashtray and set it on the glare shield. It
sat there for years.
