Gordon's Picks : HurricaneCanada
G'day Dave
This is one of a batch of twenty Hurricane Mk. I's that the Royal Canadian Air Force recieved from the United Kingdom (R.A.F. serial numbers L1759-L1763 to L1878-L1890 as well as L2021-L2023. They were delivered from February to August 1939 and served with the R.C.A.F.'s No. 1 (F) Squadron. The R.C.A.F.serial numbers were 310 to 329. I believe the photo was taken at St. Hubert, Quebec after the squadron relocated their from Vancouver, British Columbia. Cheers...Chris
