Aircraft Spruce has an exhaust for Pitts, AcroSport, etc. Has anyone
used it? If so, did it fit and do you recomend. It bolts to the engine and has ball joints for 2 straight pipes. I plan to use on an AcroSport with AEIO-320. Headwind |

They freeze after a couple of dozen hours. I've had much better luck with slip joints. I have been using exhaust with ball joints for years on my RV-6 and have had no problems with sticking ball joints. Many of the RV builders use these exhaust made by Larry Vetterman and sold by Van's aircraft and from Larry . I do not have a number for him but here is info from Van's http://tinyurl.com/2vzljd IMO these are top quality exhausts. Jerry |
