It was time to head back, this time along the foothills, east of Oroville dam and reservoir, over some private airports. Snowy mountains to the east, beckoning and threatening, and the great Sacramento Valley west, impossible to see clearly with the setting sun and haze. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing that. When the kids are grown, it'll be a toss-up between a CT, an Ercoupe, or a Decathlon... -- Jay Honeck Iowa City, IA Pathfinder N56993www.AlexisParkInn.com "Your Aviation Destination" Good morning Jay, If I remember correctly, you have flown the CT some. I have seen comments regarding it's handling, especially on approach and landing, indicating that it's more difficult than the "average" airplane. I know that this is entirely subjective but since you had experience in aircraft similar to those I have flown (Cherokees), I wonder if you would share your thoughts on the Flight Design's handling? Of course, if there is anyone else out there with any time in a CT2K or a CTSW, your thoughts would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance and Blue Skies to all. John |
