I'll second that. A steak at Harris Ranch is a very good choice. The ramp

Lemoore approach once made reservations for me at Harris Ranch after I asked to divert there!! Year ago, when I lived in Lemoore it was pretty regular to make the 45 minute drive from the base out to the resturant. It was an event. Steaks like no other. -Robert |

Harris ranch is great. If in a small plane check Xwinds. I once
couldnt land there and had to go onward towards San Fran in a 152. another spot - just went to this weekend - Techachapi Muni - closer to LA, but had fuel for $3.50 a gallon self serve. In a windy pass but easy airport. Watch for gliders just south and coordinate in Unicom - but no prob. And $3.50! |
