: Days? ..........Fri 27th (all day) 1 day

: Lodging, or location on the field? .......Family Milwaukee

: Distance traveled (one way)? ....515 nm + 86 sm

: From? ...Blacksburg, VA

: Years attending OSH? ....1st

Cool. You'll have fun.

I'm there all week, so I'm quite happy just sitting some days, ...(all day)
....on the flight-line, watching planes taxi past, etc.

The air show is nice, but maybe use that time to look at the planes near the
flight-line. That way you're not sitting for 3 hrs. It's ok walking among
the (air show)spectators who are sitting - while you're looking at the
parked planes.

Been meaning to come in previous years, but the proximity to my early-July Alaska trip has always made it slip past.

I must say, that a practical engineer and pilot combo, the super performance of airshows generally interests me less than
kicking the tires of warbirds.... something that seems more "approachable" for a piston-pounder-pilot.

I'm already suspecting that my brief pilgramage will be insufficient...
