I seem to have a problem here.
Victor F-100, 0, 00, and #3(?) tips (aircraft project stuff), regulators, small dia hoses, and tanks in a dolly. No, the rig works fine, but I'm moving into a rental house and noticed in the lease a clause prohibiting storage of flammable or explosive materials. Small amounts of ammo (less than 2000 rounds per piece ![]() but the acetylene tanks might make the insurance company itchy, so... So, anybody in the D/FW area who would like have this rig? Tanks were last exchanged in 05. I don't recall the correct size designations. O2 is ~5' tall, Acetylene is about 3. What would it be worth in cash or trade? Richard |

Richard It sounds like the tanks you have are too large to be owner tanks in Texas, so get your deposit back on the tanks from whoever actually owns them. Store the torch till you need them again. I am in DFW area and interested if you really want to get rid of them and they are owner tanks. If they are owner tanks, most places will take your tanks in exchange, so they may buy them as well. What area are you renting in? Charles |

I won't be needing the OA set up any more. No more airplanes in teh wings. But I'm keeping the small buzz box and my Hobart Mig. Hey, a guy has to be able to weld! I'm, in Rowlett now. Richard |

Richard Richard, Last time I saw a rig like that here in the OKC paper it was going for just about $100 complete and it ran for a long time, don't know if there were any takers. I would be interested but I need a second torch rig like I need a second hole in my head, maybe more. Good luck. George BG! Copy that, George. |

Richard dont make assumptions. the bottles are safe containers in good repair in the hands of a competent? operator. ask the questions of the people before throwing away good gear. btw if the lease arrangements are like australia you should be able to return the bottles for a refund. if the handpiece is a small one I'll have it. I'll send you a dillon mk3 (henrob) that you can waste your idle moments being frustrated by in exchange. :-) Stealth Pilot Perth Australia |

If I was within even a half-a-day's drive from you, I'd buy the tanks. I
have regulators and torches, but here in PA, ("Pure Apalachia"), tanks are not very often seen for sale, and the price is about $100 per tank or more. Good luck with whatever you choose to do. My place still calls those owner tanks. If they were rental, you would pay more each time filled, or perhaps by the month. -- Jim in NC |
