Well, shucky darn, there ARE those of us passing through that would be more
than happy to sign Joe off for his high performance AND give him at least
those 10 hours of dual between IOW and OSH next summer compliments of the
house, but I suspect you can't wait that long.

Wow -- THANKS, Jim!

I don't know how you'll get 10 hours between here and OSH, though.
You'd have to go pick up Eric in Ohio, or sumpin'...

;-)

(But you're right, I doubt Joe will want to wait that long...)

Well, time is logged from the time the aircraft begins movement towards
flight until it comes to rest afterwards. I've logged 10 hours just waiting
in line for takeoff from OSH {;-)

You can also up the ante by bringing it back to 1800 RPM and hanging it 5
knots from stall going both ways.

Well, there's more to it than that. I can't let Joe drive our company
vehicles until he's 18, due to insurance restrictions. I haven't
checked, but that age limitation will probably be similar with Atlas.

Wow an age restriction for airplane insurance.

I turned 17 many years ago and was never asked my age when I showed up to
rent an airplane. They were only interested in my logbook, certificate and
medical.

Times change.

Cheers:
