I'm repainting my old faithful wooden propeller tomorrow. once that is
done and in balance the new baffle components I made two weeks ago
will be installed. I then complete my annual maintenance and I'll
break into the 3 drums of avgas I have in the hangar, it's getting on
for winter here, so I'll do my bit for some local global warming.

I love flying with a freshly painted prop in cold weather :-)

Okkay, I gotta ask: does the fresh paint make a difference, aside from
looking good?

As for flying in the cold weather...wel, I guess I'll find out about that in
several months. Hopefully, the winterization kit on my airplane will help
with cain sealing, something others have reported to be something of an
issue with the Zodiac.
