![]() "Orval Fairbairn" wrote in message news ![]() As we all know, the world's only B307 Stratoliner was beautifully restored at Boeing, flown to Oshkosh 2001, then run out of fuel and dunked in Puget sound. It was then re-restored and appeared at Oshkosh 2003 and is beautiful!. A friend of mine, Gene, was invited to tour the B307. When Gene approached the plane, the captain admonished him and everyone else to "step here, don't touch that," etc. When Gene reached out to touch something, the captain said, " Please don't touch that!" Gene responded, "Why, is it still wet?" The captain turned several shades of red. Just got that one, Lol. -- .. -- Cheers, Jonathan Lowe whatever at antispam dot net No email address given because of spam. Antispam trap in place |
