The POH on my 1941 Taylorcraft doesn't say a thing about when to adjust
the prop :-) Yeah, there's nothing in my '48 Ercoupe's POH (er, "pamphlet") about that, either. Nuthin' about flaps or rudders, either! :-) The Pathfinder we always work left-to-right, as someone else stated.
