I played with the Ultimate on my desk for about a week using the
WinPilot simulator. The screen is huge compared to the IPAQ and the
speed is remarkable, notably faster than the HP4700 I use now.

The device is both wide and deep, too big to be mounted on an arm, and
there wasn't room for it in the LAK-17 panel, unfortunately.

Any user of Clearnav or Ultimate would care to comment on their
experience.

I got a chance to try my ClearNav in a contest situation for the first
this at the Seniors this year. It was great.
No more struggling to see the PDA. No more wondering if the PDA was
even going to work.
The way it handles turn area tasks simplifies decision making on
course. I would hate to ever be at a contest without it.

At the moment I am installing another Clearnav (with tunnel mount) in
a friends ASW-27.
