Also a fantastic shot/image.

Is it just me or do a lot of us airplane/aviation fiends....er... fans....
also love boats and the ocean? Most of the artwork in my home is of
boats/seashore type scenes. For those of you who have not discovered
"Sherman's Lagoon"... I strongly recommend it! It is a fantastic
cartoon/comic and well worth reading every day. Other than SWAMP, it is one
I never miss.

Good shot! Trains seem to be popular too with a lot of us aviation minded,
boat minded folk. I guess they kind of compliment each other.

So does anyone have a pic of a flying boat being launched from a
railway track? That should push everyone's buttons. :-)

No, it's the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.
