During my time in Korea in the Australian Army a Marine Corsair F4U Aircraft crash landed at Kimpo Airfield in 1952 or 1953, my memory is not what it used to be. I helped pull the pilot out of the crahed plane and he was still alive at that time although seriously injured. I actually photographed the plane at the time of the crash. From my photograph I can see the tail code which was LD and the number 5 painted on the Engine Cover. It is impossible to see any other identification markings due to the extensive damage. I need help in researching whether the pilot survived and if possible contacting him again. Being in Australia I am uncertain where to obtain this information. Would be happy to receive any offers of help. Tom Hayes
