Is this a joke?
On 10 Mrz., 06:52, Tim Taylor wrote: The IGC has announced several new classes to ensure that everyone will be a winner in their own class: 1. The 11 *Meter Class for all Sparrowhawk pilots. 2. The Standard 18 M Class for unflapped 18M glider including the LS-8-18, Discus 2-18 and ASW-28-18. 3. The Sub-Club Class for all gliders with performance below the current club class rules. 4. The Super-Club Class for all gliders with performance greater than the current club class gliders. Next week they will announce several DG Classes for all those that have bought DG gliders over the years and could never race them seriously. *There will be a 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600 (for those that really got taken) 800 and 1000 (Because the 1000 will not have a chance in the 20M class). The week after that they will set up more classes based on who is willing to pay them the most to get their own class. March 2010 will be remembered as the end of the beginning of meaningful glider racing. *The begin was adding the 18M and World Class without removing any classes. |
