Default Low altitude paragliding death

You possibly had rec.aviation.hang-gliding in mind? It does have
a problem though: 80% of the posts there in the last three
months emanate from the Belfort-Decker Obsession person; and
that's probably the very best place for him to post.

That is not a problem.
I won't be able to participate for a while, but the concept of
powered paragliding blows me away. The first non-fixed wing
powered flight. They all should be using electric power though
IMO, the videos are marvelous except for the fact that the
narrator has to yell over his loud two-stroke engine noise. The
engine noise takes away from the beauty. If battery power
technology is developed the way it should be, electric powered
paragliding will be feasible soon. They also need to fix the
problem that allows the pilot to be slinged/slammed into the
ground even at low altitudes.
