Thank you all for the tips about the floor paint. Marine paints should hold nicely given the plywood substrate & humidity. Does anyone know if the primer is a must have for these pricey marine paints? Enrique - Regarding the silver epoxy paint, I assume that you painted the inside of the fiberglass top cover. Why the silver pigments? What type of application typically use these silver epoxy paints? I want to make sure to pickup the right stuff. Thanks! Bastoune Bastoune: You are right. I painted the interior of the trailer. My intention was to block sunlight (UV rays!) from going through the top and further damaging gelcoat. Friends suggested silver because allegedly it "reflects" better, though I don't see how... I beleive any color will do as long as it blocks sunlight.. silver just looked nice! ;-) Hope this helps Best regards Enrique KO |
