I have asked to check out a rumor that there is an L-13 Blanik flying
legally in the US.

That doesn't sound right to me, as I think I would have heard of such a
thing from verifiable source.

Has anybody else heard such a rumor?

I sent a question about the status of the "repair kit" to the people
who have developed the "fix", it is still awaiting FAA
sign- off

Any word on this? Like many clubs in the US, we have a few L-13 "lawn
ornaments".
I know of at least 1 L-13AC flying in the US, which of course wasn't
affected by the grounding.

Well, that could explain the rumor. Thanks for the input.

Bob
