![]() Ages ago, I saw in a TV documentary an aviation community; the homes had extra-wide, dual purpose "hangarages". I thought it was something unique, but now I know that there are LOTS of them, of all kinds. The remarkable feature was that some of the streets were shared between cars and airplanes. IOW: Not all homes were adjacent to the runway. http://www.aviationacres.com/ There are 2 conflicting requirements he - A very long, narrow land would minimize the distance from hangar to runway. - A square (ish) land would minimize the distances between neighbors. -Ramon |
