Good one. I like it because it is not overcooked. It's all too easy to
overdo the effect and end up with something that looks somewhat
surrealistic.

To me that is the entire point of using HDR. It gives the image a surreal
look. I can take a decent picture already. HDR allows me the ability to
create something a bit different than "just" a photo.
