I flew the platypus at Bacchus Marsh with Alan Patching. What a great glider! Nice handling, great visibility, side by side so cockpit communication is great. It even has a dummy landing gear handle which will sound an alarm if you try to pull airbrakes with the fixed gear "up". There should be more than the one... Jim I enjoyed flying it as well. It wasn't built quite straight and has a firm tendency to turn at speed... There was lots of intrigue and multiple attempts to get it into production, but that was all decades ago.
